Financial Lessons
From Lead Practitioner, Ms Ripley:
“Trinity and the Cooperative Bank have a long-standing partnership, which includes, work experiences for Year 10 and 12 students, careers talks and financial lessons for all key stage 3 students.
Over the course of a two week period, Paul Wright and his team from the Cooperative banking group delivered lessons to Year 7, 8 and 9 students.
Topics for the lessons included the ethics of banking, how the Cooperative movement was founded, why banks are important and how banks work.
We are pleased to say that the moving forward, all key stages will receive lessons surrounding financial literacy. It is an important skill that all students should learn.”
