International Links and Languages Awards Evening

From Deputy Head, Dr Chard: “Our annual International Links and Languages Awards Evening saw a whole host of certificates awarded to Years 7 to 10 for their dedication to languages. Awards  were given for dedicated work in French and Spanish lessons, but also for ‘Languages XP’ and Languagenut. Guest speaker Dr Jonathan Ervine, senior languages lecturer at Bangor University,  gave an inspirational speech about how his own love for languages had developed and how he has become a lifelong learner of new languages. One student he definitely had a positive influence on  was Ms Knight, as he was her lecturer at University before she embarked on her teaching career! Congratulations to all of our award winners.”
