MFL Pen Pals

From MFL Teacher, Mrs Jones: “Two weeks ago, two of our Year 8 French classes received their first pen pal letters from France; this was organised by Mrs Walker and a French teacher in our partner school in Normandy, who was originally her pen pal when she was a high school student! The letters received were in English, and our pupils wrote back in French, so everyone gets to practice their language skills. There was also the added excitement that some of our Year 8 pupils are actually going to meet their pen pals in Normandy in the upcoming half term break, after Trinity successfully applied for a Turing Scheme grant to fund the trip. More details to come in June about this amazing opportunity.”
