Sixth Form update
From Assistant Director of Sixth Form, Dr Alnuamaani:
“In the sixth form in recent weeks we have used tutorial times to discuss respecting choices and celebrating differences. We celebrated the end of LGBT+ history month with our colourful rainbow day; we celebrated World Hijab day and International Women’s Day.

Year 12 attended the UCAS convention at Manchester Central, where they got to meet representatives from all of the UK’s Universities and several of the apprenticeship providers. This is the start of the process for year 12 of deciding what they want to study when they leave Trinity, and where they want to study. Some students are visiting Lancaster University in the next few weeks and others have started a mentoring project with students from Manchester University.
Finally, our most reliable and trustworthy students have been trained up to run the sixth form Cafe each day from 8am until 10am, when our catering team take over. Trained and supervised by our catering manager Pam, the students are serving iced latte’s, luxury hot chocolate, milk shakes and iced matcha — and doing a roaring trade!”
