Visitors from Shanghai, China

As part of our links with Manchester Education International (MEI), on Wednesday, 13th November, we were pleased to welcome a delegation of Headteachers from Shanghai in China. Our guests toured the school with me, met with students, observed a range of lessons, such as  Music, Geography, Science and Psychology, and were given presentations on the following topics by members of the Leadership Team: Assessment (Mr Johnson), Curriculum Design (Mr Butt), Safeguarding (Ms Baxendale) and the Sixth Form (Ms Tattum). Such visits are seen very positively by our students and staff, as they enhance the international dimension of the school.
