“You Are A Champion”

From Assistant Head and Head of English, Ms Kirkham:
“Year 7s were lucky enough to all be given a copy of Marcus Rashford’s ‘You Are A Champion’ this week. Their assembly centred around the Gospel of Matthew 28, where Jesus gave all Christians the task of spreading the ‘good news’ and of being the very best version of themselves. In his book, Marcus gives some excellent advice on how we can become champions in our everyday lives and the future. Thank you to Manchester City Council (and the National Literacy Trust) for providing these books. Happy reading!”
