Aspiring Medics
From KS5 Course Director of Science, Dr Alnuamaani:
“Former Trinity Student, Lisa Collins Brown, gave a fantastically inspiring talk to our aspiring medics from Years 10, 11 and 12 recently. Lisa told her story from growing up in Ghana and moving to Manchester at the age of 2, her journey through Trinity and then onto the University of Newcastle to study Biomedical Science. She is now working as a research science at the University of Salford in the Neuroscience Labs looking into the causes of Dementia. She is an excellent role model for all Trinity students, but particularly for girls wishing to study science. She will return next year to talk to our new aspiring medics group when our current Year 9 move into Year 10.”
