Engineering Educates

From Head of Engineering, Mr Barnes:

“The University of Manchester Engineering Department recently hosted an Engineering Educates day for students that are interested in robotics. Mr So and I took some Year 8 pupils to participate in the event.”

One of the pupils, Tania, wrote about her experiences: ‘From Trinity CE High School, seven Year 8 students, including me, were taken to the University of Manchester. Our journey was very eventful and we met lots of inspiring mentors. The other schools were really nice and collaborative with us. We worked together to create a device to help people with wrist problems. At the end, we were asked to show our product to the mentors. The complete day was really fun, and Mr Barnes had a great time too!!’
