English & Humanities Awards

“The English and Humanities awards are our annual opportunity for celebrating the extraordinary contributions made by our students in English, Geography, History and RE.

This year we were delighted to joined by our special guest speaker, David Kirton.

David is an internationally respected journalist, who was shortlisted for the 2021 Pulitzer Prize in international reporting.

Students loved hearing about his stories of working in Southern China, where he is based as the correspondent for Reuters. Congratulations to all students who received prizes on the evening. Your hard work, skill and diligence in these subjects is wonderful to see.”
