English National Opera’s First Performance Up North!

Director of Music, Mrs Madden, tells us more:

“GCSE Music students had the fantastic opportunity to attend the first performance given by English National Opera in their new Northern home, the Lowry Centre, on Tuesday 21st October. ENO is relocating from London to Manchester, and it was amazing that four of our talented GCSE actors and singers, Tilly, Elizabeth, Tapiwa and Caleb, were awarded complimentary tickets to attend Benjamin Britten’s comic opera Albert Herring. The students loved being part of such an amazing and unique experience and no doubt picked up some tips for their own performances in the future!”
