External Examinations

Our exam organisers and invigilation team have been impressed with the way our Year 11, 12 and 13 students have started their exam period. You can see in the photos above our students in the two main exam venues, our Sports Hall and School Gym – on occasions we have exams running for over 300 students! In recent years, the number of exams that students are expected to sit has risen. GCSE students will sit around 23 exams, lasting around 32 hours in total, and A-Level students studying 3 A-Levels will have around 9 exams, lasting a total of 18 hours. Attendance for the exams has been excellent and the atmosphere created in the room conducive to students being able to perform at their best. A great start – keep up with all the revision after half term.
