Extra-curricular updates
The wider life of the school continues this year with many sporting and music activities now up and running.
We have a record breaking number of 450 students signing up to peripatetic music lessons this year. The joy, skills, friendships and confidence that the students develop through their music-making is a wonder to behold, and we recognise and appreciate the whole school effort to enable them to flourish.
In sporting news – our Year 10 boys’ football team played against Droylsden in the ES Cup last week. The poor weather conditions made it a tough game, with the team sadly losing 5-1, but there was still a great team spirit!
