Geography in Year 8

From Teacher of Geography, Ms Goulding:

“In Year 8 geography this term, students have been learning about rivers and the way they change landscapes. In particular we have learnt about different landforms created by rivers such as waterfalls and oxbow lakes. Students were asked to make a model demonstrating a drainage basin and all the different landforms found within it. How the students made their models was their choice and they were encouraged to be creative as possible. The class produced some wonderful, very aesthetically pleasing models and have clearly put a lot of effort into making them. Well done to all members of 8AWA.”
