Geography Trips

Mr Stockley writes:

“It’s fieldwork season in Geography and our GCSE and A-Level students have been out investigating various different geographical concepts in relation to what they have been studying in class over the last year. Our Y12 students visited Media City UK in Salford to investigate the impact of rebranding and regeneration, whilst our Y11 students ventured further afield to Daisy Nook Park to carry out some stream measurements to investigate the cross profiles of a river. A good time was had by all and some great data was collected, despite some cold and wet weather!”
