Gideons International visit Trinity High

Last Wednesday morning, our Year 7 students were very pleased to welcome Ron Hyde and Mark Cunningham, two representatives from the Gideons International, into our assembly. The aim of the Gideons is to distribute copies of the Bible wherever they might be needed.

They spoke to our Year 7s about their work in prisons, hospitals, hotels and schools. Ron described the Bible as a ‘Sat Nav’ for life, which can offer guidance when we are unsure of the way to go.

The students were all offered copies of the New Testament and many were very pleased to receive them. The Testaments will be useful at both home and school in Religious Education lessons.
