Harvest Collection

From Head of House, Mr Cater:

“We are in the second week of our Harvest collection for Manchester South Central Food Bank. This is a charity that supports those who are most in need in our local community. Last year, the school community made a record donation (see photo on the right). Through your kindness, donations amounted to an incredible 1,650 meals/663KG of food. This made such a positive impact in the local community, showing that our Trinity Value of Empathy and Compassion is strong within our school.

So far, almost 400 items have been donated with our House Captains creating a fantastic display at the front of school this week. Please continue to donate items to the cause. Amongst the usual items, Manchester South Central Food Bank are specifically looking for the following items long life milk, cereals, tinned food, tea bags and sealed toiletries. Please priorities these items if you are able to do so.

Students can bring in non-perishable food items until Monday 13th October. For every item brought in, students are rewarded for their kindness with one credit per item and one house point. Thank you in advance for your support.”
