“Following our Key Stage 3 students’ participation in the Junior Maths Kangaroo and Junior Mathematical Olympiad, we are delighted to share some outstanding results.

Samuel in Year 8 achieved the highest score in the North West in the prestigious UK Mathematics Trust Junior Mathematical Olympiad 2026. This is an exceptional accomplishment in a highly competitive national competition highlights his outstanding talent, dedication and problem-solving ability.

Even more impressively, Samuel has been accepted into the Parallel Academy, alongside Rowan and Edwin in Year 7.

All three students successfully completed a rigorous admissions process, including a challenging test and mathematical interview, to secure places on this elite programme designed to nurture and develop young mathematicians.”
