Year 10 Geography Field Trip
From Head of Geography, Mr Stockley:
“At the end of last month, our Year 10 Geographers braved the heatwave to take part in their GCSE Geography field trip. The day began at Media City, where students investigated the impact of urban regeneration on the local area. They then travelled to Daisy Nook Country Park to carry out further fieldwork along the River Medlock.
On what was the hottest day of the year so far, students particularly enjoyed the opportunity to collect data in the river. Throughout the trip, they demonstrated excellent behaviour and enthusiasm, proving to be a credit to both themselves and the school. The valuable data gathered will support their GCSE studies and preparation for next summer’s examinations.”
