‘Maths Feast’ Competition
From Assistant Head and Head of Maths, Mr Scott:
“On Monday, 17th June, sixty-four Year 10 students took part in a ‘Maths Feast’ competition in the Trinity Sixth Form Centre which was organised by the Advanced Mathematics Support Programme. This was a fantastic opportunity for our students to develop their problem solving skills and work collaboratively on some interesting Maths. The students were fully engaged in the problems and the winning scores would have been competitive in the regional competitions. Many of the problems that the students were working on will give them invaluable experience of the style and content of the GCSE specification and we are very grateful to those people that gave up their time to deliver the session. A special thanks to Year 12 students, Tof, Bethan, Praise, Sandalia, Khadra, Ayoub, Muktar, Ryane and Luke for helping to make sure that the event ran smoothly.”
