Mock Interviews

Last Wednesday, we were delighted to welcome representatives from a wide range of employment sectors to carry out mock interviews with all of our Year 11 students. This fantastic opportunity puts our students ‘ahead of the game’, as it provides them with valuable experience for both university and employment interviews in the future.

Our interviewers, who work for companies such as Network Rail, Royal Bank of Scotland, Barclays, Wilmott Dixon, UK Fast, NHS, Manchester Arena and Co-operative Group, gave some positive feedback to our students:

• “Excellent interview! Communicated really well.”
• “Really good interview – driven and focused. Asked some good questions and could answer my questions very well.”
• “Very personable and friendly. It was nice to see how you had a career goal and are working towards that.”
• “You gave a really good interview and seem very passionate about Dentistry. You came across as a hard worker and I think you will be a great success if you stay on the path you are on.”
• “You were able to present your thoughts and abilities well.”

As a result of the interviews, three students were offered work experience at the Christie Hospital.
