Music Exam Success

Director of Music, Mrs Madden, tells us more:

“We are thrilled to celebrate the achievements of a record number of pupils who succeeded in their ABRSM or Trinity Rock and Pop music grade exams in the summer term. There were 28 exams from grade 1-8 in a variety of instruments, showing the excellent standards reached and the diversity and range of our musical offer…from piano, drums and guitar to violin, viola and cello and from flute and saxophone to French horn and trumpet! Overall, the students achieved a fantastic 9 Passes, 14 Merits and 5 Distinctions, testament to their hard work and the excellent support of our peripatetic music teachers. Well done to Kaitlyn, Elliot, Ashanti, Elizabeth, Emily, Joelle, Jude, Jovi, Daisy, Hei Yi, Lucy, Yaamin, Caleb, Isaac, Sophie, Eve, Ariadne, Rainat, Bess, Gabriel, Jacob and Samuel.”
