Musical Achievements

From teacher of music, Ms Gocher: “Recently, Daniel (Year 10) and Jessica (Year 8) took their ABRSM grade 2 trumpet and grade 4 cello exams, with Jessica receiving a merit and Daniel receiving a distinction. Both students perform with the school orchestra, and are hard at work rehearsing for our Christmas Carol Service at Manchester Cathedral; it seems to come round quicker every year! Daniel also performs with Brass Group and Jessica also performs with String Orchestra. We are very proud of their achievements and are enjoying seeing them grow as performers. Well done both!”
