Parent Governor Election
Duncan Edwards
My name is Duncan Edwards and I would love the opportunity to join the governing board. I am the father of 2 girls and my eldest, Eilidh is a Y7 pupil. I am a Store Manager with the Co-op running a multi-million pound supermarket, a role which involves working to challenging Key Performance Indicators, tight financial budgets, stringent health & safety routines, recruitment, training and development whilst also ensuring the highest standards of customer service are met. It is this experience and knowledge I believe will help develop future vision for the school, continuing to ensure the academic bar is set high for our children and the outstanding Ofsted results are maintained.
Tandie Ncube
My name is Tandie Ncube. I am a former secondary school teacher but now work as a nurse. I share Trinity High’s vision and values as I am a practising Christian who wishes to see pupils develop to their full potential. I believe the combination of my professional skills and passion for making a difference to the lives of children, would make me an exceptional asset to Trinity High. I am committed to dedicating my time as an effective parent governor as I have a strong belief in giving all children, regardless of background or circumstances, the maximum opportunity to thrive. This role will allow me to bring a unique parental viewpoint to your school which I feel is necessary for every child.
Following our recent advertisement of a parent governor vacancy, the two above parents of Trinity students have put forward their name and a supporting statement. All parents of students who attend Trinity are entitled to vote (one per person). All voting will be anonymous, but we will ask parents to provide their names to ensure only there is only one vote per parent.
Please read the two supporting statements from Trinity parents and cast your vote using the below link by the deadline of 12.00noon on Friday, 24th June, 2022.
The outcome will be announced in the school newsletter on Friday, 1st July.
