RNCM Young Artists Showcase

From Director of Music, Mrs Madden: “Congratulations to five of our talented musicians who have completed their first year as Royal Northern College of Music Young Artists, sponsored by Sony Music UK’s Social Justice Fund. They performed their Summer Showcase concert on 11th May at The Contact Theatre and were sensational! Prince in Year 8 was the drummer for Population 8, Phoebe in Year 8 played guitar for Blush, Raj Year 10 on guitar and Amani Year 11 on vocals fronted the band Resolute, and following his recent trip to perform at a special Sony music event in London, Prince Year 13 was on keys for The Social Contract. We are so proud of our students for taking all the amazing opportunities our city has to offer and sharing their talents with us all. Well done!”
