Sixth Form at the Brit Awards

From Assistant Director of Sixth Form, Dr Alnuamaani:

“On Saturday night 28 lucky sixth form students and 5 members of staff were given free tickets to attend the Brit Awards at the Coop Live. Representing the Best Young Mancunians in the city, our students were selected on the basis of being young carers, sixth form prefects and those that contribute most to the wider life of the school community including taking part in, and leading, music, drama and sporting teams. The students are back in school, ‘buzzing’ after their experience. They were part of the “mosh pit” and feet way from some of the country’s best musical talent.

They got into the red carpet spirit by dressing in their best suits and dresses and watched performances from Harry Styles, Rosalía, Dua Lipa, Raye, Olivia Dean, Wolf Alice and many others. The students (and staff) had the “night of their lives” and if you look closely on ITV you can see them partying away as they enjoy the live music.”
