Sixth Form Live Lounge Event

Director of Music, Mrs Madden, tells us more:

“On Wednesday 22nd October, we were treated to a wonderful evening of musical performances by our talented Y12 and 13 students. The event took place in the Sixth Form with a lovely relaxed and supportive atmosphere, and we had a record number of both performers and audience. Stunning solos on guitar, piano, drums and French horn went alongside several moving vocal solos, and the whole evening ended with the Sixth Form Singers performing the Billie Eilish song My Future, showcasing several soloists as well as rich 3-part harmony in an arrangement entirely created by the young people themselves. It was especially heart-warming to see so many fellow Sixth Formers in the audience cheering on their peers. Thank you to all who performed and to the staff who helped to organise the event.”
