Sporting Successes

It was a very successful week for our teams in a variety of sports competitions. Here are some of the highlights:

• Both our Under 14 and Under 16 girls’ (pictured below) basketball teams became Greater Manchester champions after coming through a very tough day of final matches.
• Our Year 7 boys beat East Manchester 5-1 in the football league and Year 8 boys beat Co-op 36-7 in the basketball league.
• There was more success for Saran in Year 10 as she won the Under 16 girls’ badminton singles event.
• Both our Year 10 and Year 11 girls are now into the semi finals of the Manchester football cup after beating Our Lady’s 7-0 and East Manchester 3-0.
