Summer Holiday Activities

Summer School In the first week of the holidays, 185 of our new Year 7 students attended a five day summer school, led by our Head of Transition, Ms Brooks. A wide range of engaging activities took place and it was a great opportunity for students to become more familiar with the school and get to know their form groups!

Ghyll Head Residential 54 Year 8 and 9 students attended a 5 day residential in the Lake District, led by Head of KS3, Ms Baxendale, and had a marvellous time taking part in outdoor activities such as abseiling, kayaking, paddle boarding and caving.

Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award Our Duke Of Edinburgh Gold Award students completed their 4 day assessed expedition in the Lake District towards the end of the summer holidays, led by Mr Davis and Mr Kirsten.

The view from the tents certainly looks spectacular!
