Tomorrow’s Engineers Week

Assistant Head of the Science and Engineering Faculty, Mr Cann, tells us about a recent exciting event:

“In a first for Trinity, last Wednesday saw the entire Year 10 cohort take part in the ‘Tomorrow’s Engineers Week Big Assembly’. This was a national event with over 50,000 students across the UK getting involved.  Students were able to listen to a range of individuals from differing engineering backgrounds and discover how a career in engineering could open up for them. With nearly two million new engineers needed by 2020 and a range of courses that would lead to an engineering based degree on offer at the Trinity Sixth Form, maybe some of our Year 10s will become part of the next generation of 21st Century engineers?”
