From Assistant Head and Head of Maths, Mr Scott: “As part of our collaboration with the University of Manchester, the Maths department at Trinity host groups of trainee teachers to help them to develop their practice before becoming qualified teachers. Last week, several University students helped some of our Year 8 students to master some of the concepts of algebra. The trainee teachers were joined by a group of Headteachers who are visiting Manchester from Shanghai to see how Universities and schools work together in the UK. The Headteachers were very impressed with the work that the Year 8 students were doing and are looking forward to sharing their experiences of Trinity when they return to China.”
