Windrush Service

From Head of Music, Ms Brown:

“Last Wednesday evening we were privileged to hear another inspirational performance from the Trinity Gospel Choir under the direction of Ms Carla Jane. The event was a service of thanksgiving and celebration of the Windrush Generation. The Dean of Manchester, The Very Revd Rogers Govender, wore the specially commissioned Windrush Cope which had been worn earlier in the year at the Windrush commemoration service at Westminster Abbey, where incidentally our choir director gave a very special performance. The choir made up of students from Years 7-13 made us all so proud, not only by their beautiful rendition of Redemption Song, but also by being superb ambassadors for our school.”
