World Book Day Extravaganza!

For World Book Day, departments throughout the school went ‘above and beyond’ with their costumes to celebrate this literary event. Staff dressed up as an array of characters from some of their favourite books and plays, such as:

• ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ by Roal Dahl.
• ‘A Game of Thrones by George’ R. R. Martin.
• ‘The Tale of Peter Rabbit’ by Beatrix Potter.
• The ‘Mary Poppins’ series by P. L .Travers
• The ‘Harry Potter’ series by J. K. Rowling.
• ‘An Inspector Calls’ by J. B. Priestly.

We are sure our readers will recognise some of the below famous literary characters, including Ms Baranski as an Oompa Lumpa and Mr Balcombe as Professor Severus Snape.
