Year 12 Engineers

Year 12 Engineering students are studying failure mechanisms for their BTEC L3 Diploma in Engineering, and recently took a trip to Manchester Airport Runway Park to put the theory into context. Whilst at the park, the students studied the structural design of an AVRO RJX and learned about where potential failures could occur and how design engineers overcome these issues.
