Year 9 Parents Evening

On Thursday 22nd January we welcomed our year 9 families to our parents evening. Earlier that day students had an assembly from Assistant Head, Mr Scott, outlining the upcoming option process, which is an exciting time in the lives of year 9 students as they formally get to make choices about their education for the first time.

Students and their parents / carers were able to get progress updates from teachers and learn more about the courses on offer at key stage 4. The school careers adviser was also on hand to offer early guidance regarding future destinations and careers. There was a vibrant atmosphere throughout with 80% of families in attendance.
