Anniversary Concert at the Royal Northern College of Music
From Acting Head of Music, Ms Gocher: “On Monday evening, nearly 150 Trinity students took part in the Anniversary Concert at the RNCM, to the largest audience we’ve ever had. The standard of performance was exceptional, and the variety of talent on display was a credit to the school. From steel pans to medieval orchestral music, the efforts of all the rehearsal processes were clear to see. Mr McCoy said that one of the performances “sent shivers down his spine” and several tears were brought to people’s eyes. Charlotte Wheater and Eilis Jones treated us to trumpet and violin solos, respectively, and we also said goodbye and thank you to many of our Year 11 musicians, for whom this will have been their last public performance with Trinity. Well done to all involved!”
