Black Lives Matter and Prayers for our School Community
In one of last week’s assemblies, we were blessed to have Rev Aaron Jackman, Anglican priest and former Trinity student, talking about ‘Challenge and Black Lives Matter’. The assembly explored God’s calling and presence, and how young people of faith can respond to racism. During our weekly staff prayers, we prayed for our school community and for ‘Black Lives Matter’; for continued efforts, an end to racism, for justice, equality and integrity;
God, faithful and true, you call every generation to make a pilgrim journey. Guide our feet along the road of faith, that we may put our whole trust in you; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
