Books and Reading at Trinity

Book Club Teacher of English, Miss Reck, and the Year 7 Book Club have been reading and discussing the book ‘Darius the Great is Not Okay’. The main character travels to Iran for the first time to meet his distant family. The novel tackles weighty issues of identity, mental health and friendship and has been described as “hilarious and heart-breaking”. It has inspired some brilliant conversations in the group and they are now considering what their next read will be! New recruits to book clubs in any year group bubble are very welcome going into the new year.

Book Fair Don’t forget, our Christmas Book Fair will still be in school until 17th December. It’s the perfect opportunity to pick up some last minute Christmas gifts whilst supporting the school!
