Christmas Wishes

There has been so much to celebrate at school recently, the end of half term ‘recognition’ assemblies, the sporting fixtures that have kept going as well as numerous Christmas events – especially the amazing Carol Service at the Holy Name Church on Oxford Road.

Next year marks a very important year in the school’s history – it’s our 40th Anniversary! The school was founded in 1984 on this site which had previously been the location of two Catholic High Schools. This special year will be marked by putting some extra ‘sparkle’ into all our ‘regular’ events and celebrations and in addition, we have booked the Royal Northern College of Music on Wednesday 17th July 2024 to mark the occasion in style with some special events. You will also see our specially commissioned ’40th logo’ appear from January – you can look forward to that in the first newsletter of next year!

Before I sign off for the year, I would like to thank my PA Rozvana Hussain for producing all the newsletters through 2023. Rozvana has been so creative in choosing stories and picking the right pictures – we’ll miss you next year.
