Comic Relief Mile
Head of House, Mr Cater, reports:
“Trinity’s annual Comic Relief Mile took place last Friday. Each year, the event unites our school community with the aim of raising money for Comic Relief. This year’s event saw pupils from Key Stage 3 and 4 come together with members of staff to complete a 1 mile running circuit. The atmosphere of this year’s event was fantastic. Community spirit was high as the music pumped, the crowd cheered and competitors gave it their all. Some of the students raced competitively, whilst others took it at a steadier pace, but all students received house points and credits for getting involved. Wallaby student Rosalind came in first place. Afterwards, she commented “I really enjoy running and I’m happy that we raised money for Comic Relief.” Coming in second place was Isaac from Maple House. Isaac mentioned that he has always taken part in Comic Relief events since he was very young and he was happy to be given the opportunity to continue doing so. The house team would like to give an enormous thanks to all those who donated and took part.”
