Harvest Collection

From Head of Tiger House, Ms Maxwell: “The annual Trinity Harvest Appeal (the first charitable giving activity in the House calendar) was a great success once again this year, with over three thousand items donated by the Trinity community.

Each year, students are asked to donate food items to our harvest collection which are then gifted to The Cornerstone Centre – a Hulme based day centre providing food, assistance and other necessary services for homeless and at risk people in the local community.

This year we had a particular focus on collecting tinned soup and dried lentils as part of our appeal and students really did themselves proud in ensuring that we gave the most useful gift we could. We are always amazed and delighted by the generosity of Trinity students in ensuring that we make a difference in the lives of struggling members of our near community and the House leaders want to thank all members of the Trinity family for their kindness.”
