Harvest
Mr Cater writes:
In our house assemblies last week, we launched our annual Harvest collection. Between now and Friday the 13th of October, students have been asked to bring items in to school which will then be donated to Manchester South Central Foodbank. This is a charity that supports those who are most in need in our local community.
We are now in our third year of working with this charity. The project manager, Heidi, came to speak to students about how Trinity’s donations are crucial, especially in the current economic climate and explained which items are most in need. These include long life milk, boxes of breakfast cereals, tinned food, tea bags and sealed toiletries. In return, students are rewarded for their generosity with one credit per item. Thank you in advance for your support, empathy and compassion.
