Mock Interviews

Last week, our Year 11s were given the unique opportunity of having a ‘mock interview’ with a representative from a local business, multinational company or training provider. We were delighted to welcome a range of representatives to interview our students, from companies such as AECOM, Buttress Architects, Cooperative Group, Manchester Metropolitan University, NHS, RAF, Royal Bank of Scotland and Santander. One particular employer, Positive Steps, a charitable trust who deliver various services for the community, were so impressed with two of our students, that they have both been offered work experience placements. For some students, this initiative provides them with their first interview experience for employment and university in the future, and they also received feedback from their interviewer. This is a very valuable opportunity for our students.
