School Council
This week we held the first School Council of the year. Once a month, a representative from each form attends, where we discuss how to improve the school, how we can contribute to our school and wider community and make sure that every student has their voice heard in the school.
In our first meeting we started to generate ideas for projects we want to work on this year. Our discussions generated lots of ideas including improving the break and lunch time experience, ideas for charity events and developing the extra-curricular programme for sixth-form students. One proposal was to make the Manchester South Central Food Bank one of our Trinity Credit charities. This proposal has been accepted and now all students can donate credits to the food bank, meaning that all students can contribute to our Harvest Appeal.
