Super Smash Bros Tournament

LRB Manager, Mr Richardson, tells us more: “An ultimate charity tournament was the idea of a group of our Year 11 students who organised and ran the Super Smash Bros game event very successfully. Students fought head-to-head in elimination rounds across two weeks, with the incredibly tense finals taking place on Thursday, 6th May. Tayshan in Year 11 was the overall victor after a hard-fought final against Year 7 Magnus in which most of the action took place in the air to the side of the stage. 3rd place was claimed by Daniel in Year 9. The tournament was the focus of genuine excitement among the students and raised £26 for charity. We’ll be running similar events in the future, so look out for announcements.”
