BTEC Engineering

Course Information

The BTEC National Award in Engineering will give you an understanding of the practical skills and knowledge needed to begin professional work in the engineering industry or move on to further study.

You will discover what career opportunities are available, helping you to choose your preferred area of work or study.

This course is particularly suitable for students who have a preference for non-exam based assessment.  Continuous on-going assessment removes the pressure normally associated with A-level examinations.  The course incorporates a mix of practicals, classroom lectures, industry visits, external assessments and case study exercises.
